Are you having a birthday party? I'm a photographer doing a photography project on aging. I'm looking specifically at the ritual of the birthday party – I'm shooting birthday parties from age one to ninety-nine (or beyond!).
May I photograph your party? I will be the respectful, unobtrusive presence with the camera. In thanks for letting me be there, I will share with you images that may be worth remembering for a long time.
